Kecerdasan seseorang umumnya di lihat dari skor IQ. Padahal sebenarnya antara kecerdasan dan IQ terdapat perbedaan yang mendasar. Kecerdasan / inteligensi adalah kemampuan untuk bertindak secara terarah, berpikir secara rasional, dan menghadapi lingkungannya secara efektif. Secara garis besar dapat disimpulkan bahwa inteligensi adalah suatu kemampuan mental yang melibatkan proses berpikir secara rasional. Oleh karena itu, inteligensi tidak dapat diamati secara langsung, melainkan harus disimpulkan dari berbagai tindakan nyata yang merupakan manifestasi dari proses berpikir rasional itu.

Sementara itu IQ atau Intelligence Quotient, adalah skor yang diperoleh dari sebuah alat tes kecerdasan. Dengan demikian, IQ hanya memberikan sedikit indikasi mengenai taraf kecerdasan seseorang dan tidak menggambarkan kecerdasan seseorang secara keseluruhan. Skor IQ mula-mula diperhitungkan dengan membandingkan umur mental ( Mental Age) dengan umur kronologik (Chronological Age).

Fantastic Journaling — One for Each Age Group!
We offer you two different journaling resources for use by students
this year. These journals feature an abundance of activities that will
get your student outdoors and interacting with the world around them. “Habitats, Hollows
& Homes Journal” has almost 300 activities to complete — journaling, experiments and
observations for your family to do together. Younger students will complete “Burrows,
Beehives & Beds,” which includes some common activities with the older group, and some
activities that are more early-learning based and right at their level! Take a look at these

Make an “Amazing Apple” A

What You Need:

2 large white paper plates Red paint

Child safety scissors Carrot

Black & green markers

Trace an uppercase “A” on the center of one paper plate, and a lowercase “a” on second paper

plate. Outline the letters in black marker, then cut away the ridged rims of the plates. As a

grown up to cut the narrow end of a carrot flat, and cut a notch on each side of the carrot’s

edge to make an “apple” shape. Dip the cut end of the carrot into red paint, then press it

inside the uppercase and lowercase “A” outlines. Allow to dry completely, then drawn on

the apples’ stems and leaves with a green marker.
